Autism ~ a booksellers guide

After receiving my diagnosis of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) at the age of 30, I’ve read, watched and listened to countless neurodiverse individuals tell their stories and experiences of life on the spectrum. I’ve gathered together some of my favourite books (both fiction and non-fiction), tv shows, movies, podcasts and social media accounts in hope that it might help others out there who are going through a similar experience to feel less alone, more connected, understood, supported and recognised. I also hope to raise some awareness about autism and it’s diversity. If you’d like to read more, please click here. I hope you enjoy 🙂

I’m delighted and very grateful for having the opportunity to interview some of my favourite authors; so if you’d like to meet the creators behind some much-loved and bestselling books click here and be swept away to the imaginations of the wonderful writers themselves!

‘It has taken me several years of exploration, but I am at a place now where I see autism as neither an affliction nor a superpower. It’s just the blueprint for who I am. There is no cure, but that’s absolutely fine by me. To cure me of my autism would be to cure me…
